(08.11.2026 workshop in English & queer friendly)
(DEUTSCHE VERSION HIER)
“I was pretty good at saying the right things at the right moment to turn him on. But it wasn’t until I started practicing OMing that I realized it was all fake. I was holding back what I really wanted to say, which was actually: ‘Could you move a little more gently?’ or ‘Right now there’s this warm feeling of love flowing out of my chest.’”
– Leesa, 29 *⁰

The aim of this workshop is to practice the elements of OMing – Orgasmic Meditation – in a safe environment and, through that, rediscover closeness.
OMing has many beautiful facets. It is meditation, arriving, empowerment, connection, relaxation, healing, communication training, letting go, sensory training, learning anew, care, foreplay, all of these things—or sometimes „just“ parts of them. It is the most powerful and beautiful meditation I know.
That is why, in the winter of 2024, I began offering these workshops on a non-commercial basis, giving people in Berlin the opportunity to choose to learn this practice together with me and within a group, to explore sensuality and communication, and to contribute to transforming s*xuality in our society.
I truly believe that both the knowledge shared and the workshop experience are worth it, and I promise a positively overwhelming experience—with a money-back guarantee*¹ if you don’t feel enriched by it or if any of your boundaries are crossed.
You’ll also receive a handout and various exercises that will help you find OMing partners afterwards or explain the practice to future partners.

What you can expect, in short:
+Optional: sauna before and after the workshop – warmth for body & nervous system
+Gentle, non-s*xual partner exercises
+Introduction: „Slow Sx & OMing“ – What is going wrong in sx education and our culture? What could be different?
+The theory behind OMing – the partner ritual
+Sensate Focus – a non-s*xual practice and a deep dive
+An optional semi-s*xual practice session at the end (OMing)
+Space for integration, questions & sharing

Why do we OM?
I believe s*x should nourish us: a source of joy, energy and connection.
Yet mainstream male-centered sx, prn culture and patriarchy leave their marks on our s*xuality, causing it to freeze and become burdened with trauma. At the same time, we are missing valuable learnings about communication, self-reflection, feeling our bodies, meditation, recognizing boundaries, saying no, expressing desires, and much more.
New learnings are needed to celebrate „Slow S*x“—a form of lovemaking that can be healing, deeply sensual and ecstatic, and in its richness is usually at least one of these. But in a world constantly telling us that more is better, the path there is rarely intuitive.
This is where OMing comes in.
leven valuable, clearly defined steps. It begins by feeling into the possibility of offering an OMing session and ends with taking down the shared „nest.“ At its heart lies fifteen minutes of shared attention focused on one gentle intimate touch.
What do we practice?
Clarity, Safety & Connection
In this workshop we practice the fundamental skills for conscious, clear and sensual encounters:
- Perception: seeing and describing without judging
- Noticing and communicating physical sensations instead of immediately interpreting them emotionally
- Communicating requests for change—first simply and directly, then clearly and appreciatively
- Yes-and communication: a light yet powerful form of feedback that strengthens connection
- Saying a clear „No“
- Hearing a „No“ and responding to it respectfully and appreciatively
- Appreciating another person’s „No“
- Feeling into challenging decisions—authentically offering or asking for an OMing session
To practice these skills, we’ll do several non-s*xual partner exercises, deep partner-connection exercises, the Sensate Focus Deep Dive, and—optionally(!)—OMing.
What is OMing? (short version)
OMing is a semi-s*xual partner meditation that opens the door to a new way of experiencing sxuality, helping us let go of old habits while inviting new ones. It is an asymmetrical practice designed for an asymmetrical world.
Through a series of clearly defined steps, the stroker learns to truly see—without judgment; the strokee experiences being truly seen. Both practice communication („Say what you really want“), sensing (focusing on sensations rather than emotions), and openly sharing sensations, desires and present-moment experiences.
„I always thought talking during s*x would ruin the moment. I never would have guessed that it could feel this intimate.“
– Ryan, 37
„At first I thought, ‚My partner and I already communicate during sx.‘ But when I had to tell him during OMing what I wanted him to change, I completely shut down. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings. That’s when I realized that during sx I never actually tell him what I want.“
– Sara, 41 *⁰
OMing is a shared ritual consisting of eleven valuable, clearly defined steps. It begins by feeling into the possibility of offering an OMing session and ends with taking down the shared „nest.“ At its heart lies fifteen minutes of shared attention focused on one gentle intimate touch.

„I came with many expectations—and left with completely different ones. It didn’t feel sexually charged at all. Instead, it felt inspiring, exploratory, … The exercises were simple, yet surprisingly engaging. And despite my social anxiety, I felt genuinely connected to the people around me. That honestly surprised me.“
— Lukas, 29 (22.03.2025)
„I had decided that I wanted to practice OMing. I really wanted to try it—but then I built up incredibly high expectations. It felt so exciting and arousing. Right before the session I was almost panicking. But about a minute after we began, everything shifted. It became deeply relaxing.“
— Participant (22.03.2025)
„I’ve never felt such deep appreciation for a partner’s ‚No.‘ Realizing how valuable it is to hear someone say ‚No’—that they’re able to express it and show me they’re taking care of themselves… wow. That was such an important insight.“

Past workshops (2025-2026)

All four workshops during the winter of 2024/25 were a great success! We offered two Deluxe workshops and two standard workshops, and the feedback was consistently positive. For some people, simply signing up for a workshop like this was a big step—but let me reassure you: everyone was genuinely glad they came.
03.01.2026
We were a small group, but it turned into a truly beautiful workshop. The new format, with more practical exercises, worked wonderfully. The only challenge was that time was tight, so our closing circle ended up taking place in the sauna. (Oh no… 😜) That’s exactly why the next workshop includes an extra hour. 💪🏻💫
25.01.2026
With around 24 participants, the workshop was almost full, and afterwards we enjoyed a relaxed sauna together. (The extra hour until 6:00 pm was fantastic!) I was especially happy to see so much interest in my books. 🙂
My motivation
When I first started learning OMing from a book, my first attempts weren’t particularly impressive. (I probably should have finished reading it first.) But I fell in love with the practice and later received incredibly enthusiastic feedback from people I practiced with—sometimes even weeks afterwards, such as:
„Dear Maxim, learning OMing from you has been a truly meaningful gift in my life. THANK YOU. ✨🌸“
— Participant, 26
That inspired me to offer my first OMing workshop at Kiez Burn in 2019. The feedback was so heartwarming that I simply kept going.
OMing noticeably enriches people’s lives, strengthens our human community, and sharing it with others continues to be deeply meaningful to me.
no commerce
Keeping these workshops free from commercial interests is very important to me. That’s why I will never promise that you’ll definitely get to practice OMing during the workshop.
For the Berlin workshops, our Space Holders receive a fair hourly wage, and if enough people participate, I pay myself fairly as well. Any surplus goes directly into future workshops and community events.

What is OMing in detail?
OMing is a semi-sexual, asymmetrical partner meditation that opens the door to a new way of experiencing sexuality, helping us let go of old patterns and invite new ones.
The ritual has three overarching intentions and eleven clearly defined steps.
Its three intentions are:
- Let go of expectations.
- Focus on bodily sensations („Sensations“) rather than emotions.
- Say what you truly want.
The ritual begins by noticing what simply thinking about an OMing session evokes within you. It then continues through authentic asking, feeling into the answer before responding, building the „nest,“ finding a comfortable position, describing the vulva without judgment, the first touch, fifteen minutes of shared attention on gentle stroking of the clitoral glans—with clear communication throughout using Yes-And communication to share sensations and desires—before gradually bringing the session to a close, grounding, sharing a frame, and finally taking down the nest.
What sensations arise in you as you read this?
Take a moment if you like. Close your eyes and simply notice what is happening in your body right now. Observe it without judging or interpreting it.
In our society, we pay surprisingly little attention to our sensations—and because of that, we often misinterpret our experiences.
Whether or not you choose to practice OMing during the workshop is a decision that can only truly be made on the day itself. Yet even arriving at that decision—and everything that prepares you for it—is already an incredibly valuable experience. That’s why I offer the money-back guarantee.
The workshop is absolutely worthwhile, even if you decide not to practice OMing.
Whatever you decide on the day:
- The space will feel safe.
- The workshop will have been worthwhile.
- You’ll most likely be pleasantly surprised by your own decision.
For several reasons, I encourage every single participant to join the workshop—even if they already know they probably won’t practice OMing that day.
Why?
Singles at the workshop?
„During my first OMing session, I started crying. I couldn’t believe I didn’t have to give anything back for the attention he was giving me. It was the first time in my life.“
— Elaine, 52*⁰
First, because of the consistently wonderful feedback from the previous eleven workshops.
Second, because the workshop itself offers valuable theory and many non-sexual partner exercises.
Whether or not you ultimately choose to practice OMing during the workshop, everything leading up to that decision will already have been worth it! (That’s why I’m happy to offer the money-back guarantee.)
If you do decide to practice, however, I cannot guarantee that you’ll find a partner, be invited to practice, or have your own invitation accepted. That would simply be the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. 😉
(So far, the percentage of people in Berlin who wanted to practice and were able to do so has been very high. I already take group balance into account during registration.)
Gloves are available on-site for safer practice.
Healing of trauma
Beyond the many immediate benefits of the practice itself, OMing also has profound transformative potential—both personally and socially.
Many women experience shame or numbness around their sexuality and feel uncomfortable with the appearance of their vulva, especially in the presence of men. OMing offers a protected space for self-acceptance and genuine connection—a space where the vulva is seen without judgment and touched without pressure or performance expectations.

„Usually, when a man comments on my appearance, he isn’t really telling me anything about me—he’s telling me about his opinion of me. This was the first time I truly felt someone was actually seeing me, simply describing what was there. It felt as if I were inside his body, looking back at myself, and it was incredible. I had always hated my genitals. But when he described them, I liked them for the first time. He never told me they were beautiful—and I wouldn’t have believed him if he had. But the way he described them made them sound beautiful.“
— Maggie, 35*⁰
The mindful touch at the heart of the ritual helps awaken sensations, re-sensitize the body, and gently release blocks.
OMing supports healing, self-acceptance, and a deeper sense of comfort in your own body.
My workshop allows you to learn OMing in a safe environment through theory and non-sexual practice exercises. Afterwards—and completely without pressure—participants with a vulva have the opportunity* to experience the practice in a guided setting and then share their experience with others.
*As explained in the previous section, I cannot guarantee this opportunity. However, so far every participant with a vulva who wished to practice has had the chance to do so.
Through the combination of comprehensive theory, a clearly structured framework, and a series of exercises, everyone has the opportunity to make a conscious and informed decision about whether or not to participate in the optional practice session. (The final practice segment lasts approximately 25 minutes of the four-hour workshop.)
In most workshops so far, I’ve had participants with vulvas who arrived convinced they would not practice—but chose to in the end. I’ve also had others who expected to practice but ultimately decided not to.
So far, no one has regretted their decision. ❤️
The transition into the optional practice is regularly mentioned as one of the highlights of the workshop. I’m convinced this is where the quality of the workshop really becomes apparent. 🙏🏽
Benifits (&challanges) for men
People often ask what men gain from OMing. At festivals, this question usually came from women, who were surprised that so many men were genuinely interested in the practice even though they „don’t get anything back.“ Yet the sharing afterwards was deeply meaningful for everyone involved.
Occasionally men ask the same question as well.
To me, the benefits of the practice are so abundant that I still find the question surprising—but I’ve also spent many years practicing OMing and other forms of meditation.
So for those who’d like an answer before attending the workshop, here’s my perspective.
„My first experience with oral sex wasn’t great, and from then on my mind associated that part of a woman’s body with fear. I was afraid of getting close to a woman’s intimate parts, not liking what I saw, and hurting her feelings. So I avoided it completely. I’d rather not have sex at all than risk hurting someone.
After I started OMing, it felt like night and day. My whole experience changed. The vulva went from being something frightening to something fascinating—something I became deeply curious about. It became, ‚Oh my God… there’s something here that’s simply fucking amazing.'“
— Dan, 38*⁰
Demystifying, exploring, and truly getting to know vulvas is only one part of the picture.
In short, men gain almost all the same benefits from the practice as women do. 💫
OMing helps all of us discover an entirely new way of experiencing sexuality—a world of deep connection, meaningful communication, and what I can only describe as „cosmically“ good sex.
For men, all of the benefits mentioned earlier apply just as much: the many benefits of meditation (which could fill a list of their own), communication skills, learning to let go, and developing greater sensory awareness.
Imagine being able to feel, through your fingertip, something close to what a woman feels in her clitoral glans. ❤️
While the healing aspect of the practice tends to be especially significant for women in the beginning, men also experience profound healing through it. And the healing women experience has an enormous positive impact on men as well.
(After around 30–50 sessions, I generally recommend reversing the roles. This creates similar healing effects for men, although I personally see this as the final 10% of what the practice has to offer.)
Beyond its many lasting benefits, OMing also makes for wonderful foreplay—although it should not generally be understood or practiced solely for that purpose.
Further benefits
- Learning to feel with your partner (and gaining deep insight into your partner’s inner experience)
- Expanding orgasmic capacity (for both partners) → better sex, more sex
- Helping women free their sexual energy
- The best foreplay ever—creating openness and deep connection
- Learning and practicing exceptionally valuable communication skills (Yes-And communication, sharing a frame, asking for what you want, discovering together what you want)
A valuable side effect: healing our society
In this context, I’d also like to mention the unique challenges the practice offers.
For participants with a vulva:
- Opening yourself.
- Afterwards, allowing yourself to simply receive without feeling the need to „give something back.“
For strokers:
- Letting go of sexual desire and the urge for an outcome.
- Afterwards, continuing to give while gently declining attempts at reciprocity. 🙏🏽
Of course, I can’t promise that everyone will practice OMing during the workshop.
But I can promise that the workshop is worthwhile regardless.
Learning the theory alone—with stories, examples, and practical exercises—is immensely valuable.
The transition into the optional practice, and simply feeling into the experience of authentically asking for or offering an OMing session, is one of the most meaningful parts of the day.
My goal is that everyone leaves the workshop able to explain OMing clearly and to authentically ask someone to practice with them.
The handout helps participants remember what they’ve learned and explain the practice to others afterwards.
This gives everyone a beautiful way to approach intimacy with new partners gently and gradually, creating truly magical experiences—whether in a romantic context or outside of one, whether it leads to sex afterwards or not.
Whatever path you choose, there’s a very good chance you’ll enjoy the experience itself.
To me, that alone makes it deeply worthwhile.
Footnotes
*⁰ The testimonials are my own translations from *Slow Sex: The Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm* by Nicole Daedone.
*² Woman (/Man) – biological sex:
OMing can also be practiced in same-sex and bisexual pairings. For heterosexual pairs, however, I recommend that the first 30–50 sessions remain one-sided.
OMing is an asymmetrical practice for an asymmetrical world. For this reason, I do not teach the male version of OMing during this workshop.
That said, OMing is absolutely for men as well. The list of benefits for men is long, and their appreciation of the practice is typically just as great.
